Yeah Shaz, you're using the software renderer.
By the way guys, https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/320 ... .1.1-9.zip iceball 0.1.1-9 try that it allows you to connect via iceball:// links meaning we actually have an easy to use server browser now

[aos]iceball://numbers:morenumbers[/aos] if you notice it works here as well, though i did use the AoS bbcode so maybe not. You should talk to dan about having iceball bbcode.

wow amazing!
I'm slightly dissapointed that there is a pinpoint server up already though :(
I hope not more servers follow this direction.

What do you mean? Also do maps have map extensions like in AoS?

I am having a problems now since updating. I seem to crash after a bit when playing Iceball? I doubt it's anything to do with graphics problems because it runs smooth at 60fps or so and never used to crash in the past. I've even tried limiting & unlimiting FPS, have had my vsync and triple buffering on recently so tried to toggle those around, still didn't help.
Any suggestions?

Iceball 0.1.2 released, now with server list.
This is the easiest-to-use Iceball version to date. Which is actually worrying me right now, as there are people who don't talk who join the servers.
Check OP for link.

Jdrew's feedback! Grenades were buffed too much. The standard 2X4 wall is destroyed with just three grenades. and looks at the whole!
Before:

After:

Those are like bombs! Which is cool but not cool for buildings and for other people. You should make two types of grenades. This kind and a small kind that has less of an explosion.

Perhaps this kind could be used as sort of a mini killstreak, like for getting 4 or so kills without dying?
I must say, this is quite awesome right here. Are there plans to add sprinting or not?

There's a mod that implements it (pkg/iceball/sprinting/), although it might need a bit more work.
At the moment, if you hold out a spade you move a bit faster, but personally I think this is ridiculous and I'd rather make that the normal moving speed.
jdrew: 3 grenades in 0.x can take down a 2x4, too.
(edit: just realised, this is post #1337 in this thread. whee.)

I'd rather have the way of taking down buildings be from booms than pew pew.
I don't think it's OP, but I guess we'll have plenty of time to gather feedback on that.

Folk of the slow GPU nation! We need YOU to help developer MASTER RACE!
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/320 ... .1.2-3.zip <-- clsave/config.json, set gl_vbo to false, set gl_quality to 0, set smoothlighting to false
Report how much FPS you have then :)

If you have a shitty netbook with an even shittier GMA 3150 in it, we REALLY want that fps value :)
