Help! inidirectdraw failed

Hi,
When I try to start a server I get an error message saying this: could not connect to "(server name)" inidirectdraw failed: 0x080004001.
Please help me with this issue!

It boots me out of my game when it says that. This is my first time trying to get this to work. I have never played on a sever before.

Well, I'm trying to load through another server loader, as the approach through my browser does not seem to work. When I click on a server link, nothing happens.

Maybe you should go to http://webchat.quakenet.org/?channels=#AoS and ask for help there.
But be patient cause most people are afk and it can take a while for someone to respond to you.

Change your resolution to 800x600 in the config file in the ace of spades folder.

Yes, that error normally means that you are trying to use a non-supported resolution.
Change it back to 800x600 like roulette said. If that doesn't work, or you haven't changed it, try to reinstall.

(You change the resolution in your config.ini file in your AoS folder. You can open it with any text editor)
