You should make a youtube video for those who don't know what to do even though there is a tutorial.

Iceball updated to 0.0-47, and adds support for loading/saving binary/text files and deals to the z-fighting issues in the PMF renderer and whatnot.

Also, BR added a few sounds and fixed up the volume falloff so you can no longer hear everything from the other side of the map anymore.

Not needed. If you read the documentation provided, it will work. While I disagree with GM's way of going about it, it is what it is. Read the docs, and do it yourself. You might learn something.

Lemon, you accidentally quoted the wrong post. Did you mean to quote Lawliet's?

Anyhow I suspect docs/READ_THIS_FIRST.txt is out of date - you'd be best to read the tutorial that comes with the game when you double-click the .exe. It even comes with excellent music.

Also, the first post of this thread is worth reading, at least the top bit... I think I'll clean out the old crap now.

Opps. That is a pretty epic fail. Yes. I quoted the wrong person. I tried going back through and editing it, but I am currently too lazy. But yes, I agree that the docs need to be updated. I have some spare time tommorow that I could use to edit some bits.

In the Connect Rakiru server, on the map is my building. It is the highest man made building in Iceball.

(It's rainbow color and it has a letter L in front of it.)

Iceball is doing great. Just a few suggestions for updates:
- Impacts when falling / dying, losing health
- Buildings/structures falling animation when broken
- Select block colour by pointing cursor at colour of block you want then pressing E.
- Running animations more fluid
- Sounds updated for different environment
- Holding weapons with both hands (?)
- Better faces (lol)

Just went a graffitied everywhere on Rakiru. Blue_Tongue

0.0-53 released, effectively 0.1 Release Candidate 2. Testers wanted!
Windows build: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/320 ... 0.0-53.zip
Main server: iceball-gl -c play.iceballga.me 20737

We're using ENet for the main protocol so if you want to host a server, make sure you also forward the same UDP port, too.

Thanks to the I think 8 other people who came and tested 0.1-rc1 (0.0-51). We peaked at 7 players, I think. Good game everyone :)

So, will 0.1 be roughly as good as aos 0.1?

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Also, just by looking at this you can hear people chanting "Green Master Race"...

But they're wrong, of course.

(I *do* admire that though).
