The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall.

Eh, daggerfall is pretty bad. Its huge, I appreciate that, it has a nice level of depth most games can only dream of, but the dungeon crawling is just...horrible. And thats pretty much the core of the game. Being a wereboar can only entertain you for so long when youre searching for a needle in a massive haystack.

These are the ones I have played, however stabyourself's games might need a bit of hackery to get them to work reasonably on a ~2000 toaster.

May I suggest NetHack? http://www.nethack.org/
If it's a bit too graphically heavy, try hitting Alt-Enter and running it fullscreen. But then again, we're not talking about a ~1990s toaster.
