IS: Infinite Stratos

Japan engineered an armed powered exoskeleton "Infinite Stratos" (IS) and it became the mainstream of weapons. Since only women can operate IS, women dominate the society over men. Dante works as a demon hunter for the office of Devil May Cry, and as he is always in debt he doesn't have the luxury to turn down jobs as long as they pay well. During the mission he was able to defeat the demons that got in his way and deliver Patty safely, but upon completion of the mission Dante discovers that Patty will be staying with him - indefinitely! Anime is a form of animation but the style is very clear, looking at that it doesn't look like it is from Asia nor does it look like it has the same style of most anime so I would say no.

Jdrew, i'm sorry to have had to do this, but you mean Japan. I have a very unusual love for japan - i am not Japanese, but i love Japan. This love forces me to correct people when they say Asia, instead of a specific country. You may not have realized or known that it is a Japanese art form, but still, now you do. When people say 'Asia' they could pretty much mean any country in Asia, such as: Russia, India, China, etc. You could have narrowed it down even further and said 'an Oriental Part of Asia' but that is passive racism. Anyhow, my point is...

Well anime is an art style from japan but many countries by there could have copied it and may have people who do that style in that country so I say Asian but you are right, it originated from japan.

But still, Manga and Anime are two similar, yet completely different things. Manga is a single or series of books/comics - this means that they are still pictures. Whereas Anime is the same art form but it is not a still picture, it is usually produced in a series of episodes, which then branch off into one or more movies. It is quite difficult to tell whether or not "Cat Shit One" is anime without actually watching it, but judging by the picture he gave us... that is not anime.
