Wow. I haven't touched the code in quite some time.

>> Hey, this looks really cool! It turn out really great. The only problem I have is you took out the smg, which was really the only gun for me that was fun to mod. I like modding the semi, but the fire rate is just too slow for me.
Good. I don't care. If you have any issues with the fire rate, host your own server, and you can change anything you want; hell, you could even turn it into a game of chess. But don't expect anyone but noobs to ever
want to play on it.
>> Remember: don't be like the government. When something is broken, you don't waste something good and throw it away. You fix it.
Yeah except the SMG was never good, so I threw it away. Seriously, you should never be asked to do surgery for cancer patients.
I had to rebuild this from the bottom-up. There's two guns in there and they're both rifles. I didn't add the second gun. But that's OK, apart from the fact that the main rifle is more like a Lee-Enfield than the "Lee-Enfield".
>> So many players use that gun, especially noobs, because they need that core weapon to get started grief the shit out of their own base.
FTFY. (It was fucking awful in 0.54 when it was introduced. They could just sit in the tent and have bullets fed through their ass and shoot all day.)
The bottom line is, they don't
need it. What they
need is to grow up.
>> I was a noob once, and I remember going on semi only servers and how frustrating it was getting hardscoped over and over by pros.
Sounds like you need something character-building. (DON'T PLAY THIS ON EASY IT'S JUST *WRONG* but normal is fine) - scroll down to where it says "08/06/28 東方地霊殿 体験版ver0.02a(135M)" and click on one of the links in that box. Extra kudos if you can beat the first stage on Lunatic difficulty :)
I remember when it was only semi-only servers, and I was happy to learn how to kick ass.
>> Don't do this for me man. Do it for all those poor noobs without a clue. Taking away the smg; foolish decision.
I've been wanting to take away the SMG for much longer than you have been around.
>> Editing the smg to a more balanced assault rifle; would have been a good change that made everyone's game better.
The 0.75 SMG was more of an assault rifle. That, paired with the rifle's spread being so bloody awful
it had the same spread value as the 0.60 shotgun, utterly ruined the game.
>> GreasyMonkey, I love you man, but you're killn' me bro
I only take bribes through Visa.
Anyway, Lemon summed it up quite well.

There's a patch that adds one in. It's
very different from the 0.75 one, though.
