I think it is funny that they don't know the system requirements for their game only, what, a week away from release?

Its supposed release date is on Tuesday. Though I am 90% sure they will delay it.

Mentioning BnS isn't bannable anymore, I mentioned it twice in a single post and haven't been banned.

Looks like Jagex is getting their act together. I will remain cautious, however.

Sniped finally caught it!
Never assume your computer will not be able to cope with Ace of Spades. Not
only have we designed to the game to work on low end computers but
There is an excellent technical support team who can help.

To be honest, I am sure that there will be many people who will feel the
onus placed on the new game features and classes will help them become
overjoyed with Ace of Spades

Sadly, some of the features we have added will mean that there is
understandably going to be a small increase in the computer spec needed.
But we have been very careful to keep this as low as we could
to ensure that as many of the community can play it as possible.
Later on when Ace of Spades comes out, we will release the technical requirements.
Every community member is also more than welcome to use our technical support team too.

No, he didn't catch on because it is only 4 days from release and his company doesn't have system requirements out for the game yet. Four freakin' days and they don't have system specs out yet? what the heck?

Ahhh, I see now. A_girl should be our hero... anyway.

I just love the constant pressure to buy the game:
once the game is released and you get the chance to expose yourself to the game then you will see how well it plays
Seems like the only thing the staff tells us is to "buy the game and see if you like it!!!!"

I have never bought anything just to see if it was good, nor will I ever buy anything just to see if it happens to be good. I always research the game first and then see if it is worth, not the other way around.

If you take the first letter of every sentence in the post I made, it spells "BUILD AND SHOOT".
I've conveniently spaced the sentences to 1-per-line to make it more obvious.

Jagex is trying to cause problems. They take it way to seriously, they think we are trying to steal their game's popularity, but.. no, we aren't at all. I can't stop laughing about this though:

· Advertising of the fansite on the official forums can only be through a signature
Okay.. Although, some people got introuble for the sig. wth?
· Each fansite primary focus should be the release version of Ace of Spades

This isn't a 1.0 Fansite.. xD This is the 'fansite' for the REAL game, whether or not you want us to be or not. This is where we take part in 0.75 servers and the creation of the new AoS. Its not like we're stealing your money, or depriving people of the 1.0 experience, we're just encouraging positiveness for 0.75.
· Fansites should not dissuade its community from taking part in other Ace of Spades communities or actively drive traffic away from the official site
Fine with us! We aren't doing this, so thats fine. Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 Blue_Happy3 (at least I'm not, no idea what some people are doing)
· Each fansite's primary focus should be on supporting the overall community
wut?? No, our focus is playing the Game we have always loved, not supporting the OTHER game. meh.
· Fansites should not encourage illegal activity
Don't you dare count illegal activity as making a new free AoS version. We (MG and the Opensource crew that's making new AoS :P) can make a new AoS from scratch if we like, Not like you kept the game anything like 0.75 was.

I made the following post on their forums:
Basically, I've been watching from the sidelines all this new development.
Ultimately, I feel like AoS 1.0 is not going to be a game that I will grow to like.
I started playing AoS, the "prototype", a couple of years ago with my friends.
Laughing, talking, occasionally shooting each other....that's what made the game fun.
Despite the poor graphic quality, I found it a truly enjoyable game.

And now what's happening...there's so many things introduced in the upcoming version.
New weapons, classes, a far superior graphics requirement.
Depressingly, I don't have the money to buy a new computer to play this game.

So I guess I'll be sticking around the community, and see how things ride out.
However, I don't think I'm going to be able to have fun like before.
OpenGL keeps crashing my computer, and I haven't gotten anything to work.
Obviously, I won't quit this community...I'll stick around the prototype fansite and see where that goes.
Thank you, Ben and all, for making a great game. It was fun while it lasted.
They haven't noticed anything yet, I think.
Haha dude you're so clever <3
