Is it an AoS-like game programmed from scratch?
Yep. Discussion is currently in another thread (starting about page 3) but I might eventually start one just for this project.

Jagex isn't making AoS a better game, they're making a new game, period.

As such, I see it as Jagex coming in and creating a new game based on AoS and buying the rights to call it AoS. The community has no obligation to go along with that.

Isnt there a way around it to make it our own game. Don't we just go back a few updates then we change it a different way. It cant be copyright and it shouldn't be an offence because overly its not there game. Yes it came from the same place but if you look at what jagex has done to it, it looks nothing like the older version. If so it does, just change skins and mods and all that. I know we have some of the best skin modders around and i know we have a fair few people who can program.

So i think we could possibly sort something out and make it a new era.
