It aint griefing if it's part of the map ;) Well, at least in my opinion.
The difference between .75 and 1.0 is the pictures above are actually an accomplishment, not an expectation. I used to spend many hours digging as big of a chunk out of a map as possible (not bridges... cutting bridges gets lame). I mean a giant hole or trench that was cut out of the map so as soon as it appears, people are always "What the ..... ??!" Maybe I'll do another one sometime.

The bridge isn't just part of the map, it is the map. Theres zero tactical reason to destroy the entire bridge, and it causes the map to come to a near standstill. Anytime an action impedes your own team's ability to accomplish the objective, its griefing.

This game is about adapting to a fluid map... so, adapt :Da girl wrote:It aint griefing if it's part of the map ;) Well, at least in my opinion. While normally the case, that rule of thumb doesn't apply here. Right, because crossing a massive field of water in which theres zero possibility to dig/create cover/create any form of strategy only to reach a wall you have to dig into/build(both easily stopped/countered) is great gameplay.

Call me old fashioned then for thinking it's not fun at all. Guess I'm just nostalgic for the days where when you died it was your own fault, like running out into the open from cover when it wasn't needed, rather than because the map forced you into one of the most frustrating circumstances in all of AoS.

It makes it a challenge because once you die you're back on your side of the base again, takes 5 minutes to get to the other side, die. Repeat.

Every time I see that map it gives me that "Ahhh, you again" feel. I like the map because, the bridge is destroyable. I love it when it's coming to pieces and you have to hide in the walls. It feels apocalypsy, like going through a crumbling building. Brings back good memories when people didn't break the bridge and fought up on top of the bridge. Good times. I loved it since it was one of my first maps I loved to play on.

So don't grief the bridge on Bridge Wars, people.

A hard job is taking down a Hallway before time runs out.
I'm seen someone do it before, but they probably had Turbo spade.

Almost everyone who played on bridge wars thought about/ attempted to take down the bridge before.
Back when I played me and my friend played a little spleef match (who can dig a whole and make someone fall first) thing, it was fun.
I've taken down a chunk of hallway, I took down good assault classic the blue side, antic bridge, and many more xD.
