I was honestly thinking about getting it cracked. I don't usually ever get cracked games, but Jagex.
Then I thought I shouldn't break my good streak. So instead I'll watch YouTube videos on it and if it's actually good I will.

I've decided I'm not going to buy it.
I really want to ask Jagex this question; why fix something that isn't broken?
I mean, the game was already good. All they need to do, or rather all someone has to do is balance fixes, and a better hacker-prevention system and BAM the game is 1.0 done, ready for release. No, instead they are seemingly making a new game completely.

Though I will save my final judgement till after I see some gameplay.
I can give you a 95% sure answer that I will not.
I would basically buy it just to stay with my clan though.

Can't and won't, hoping (perhaps in vain) that .75/.76 survive though

I would buy it mostly because it's relatively cheap and I'll probably end up getting a credit card soon. My mentality is that I might as well have it instead of not have it and unfortunately boycotting it would probably not stop all the Runescape players Jagex will undoubtedly try to draw in from buying it. I want to see how things work out, even though they're going to be drastically different and essentially destroying the core community of the game.

And cawadooty isn't exactly a terrible game. But I would rather have old AoS.

As for the info we have today, I won't buy it.
Limited modding and mapping support is already a bad move, but they clearly show how much they didn't care for any aspect of this community by announcing that the dedicated server software won't be publicly available. Enough for me to not buy it, I'll wait to see how it actually turns out. I was really looking forward a bigger and better AoS, but it looks like Jagex just screwed it up. How lame.
Also, the lack of any proper screenshot nor gameplay video makes me doubt that the game is even ready for release. Maybe they'll sell a beta version.
