Well, my idea was that all teams met each other twice, and first match Team A would choose the map/gamemode etc..
And the next time they met Team B would choose. But that's just my suggestion.

ps: @Kodiak I hope Lines will be part of that.
thanks dudes

As far as I know this seems like it is for making your own group not your clan. But if it was the opposite we would still like to see the same thing but with clans having leaderboardsand stuff.I know this was suggested by TB and I wish he brings the topic in BnS forums too.
Also, if this will be clan based, perhaps a seeding system will be in order.
If any of you are familiar with the NCAA, teams are seeded from 1-8 or 1-16 in their division based on their performance during the regular season. We can't really have a "regular season" here, but perhaps seeding teams based on their performance the previous season. In the first season, we can have a vote for the #1 seed. The top vote being the first seed, the second highest being the second seed, and so on.
After the vote occurs, the teams are filled into the bracket, in which the top seed plays the last seed, the second seed plays the 7/15 seed basd on the size of the bracket, and so on. (After the first seasn we would no longer need to vote.)
The nice thing about a bracket like this is that if we have a number of teams that is a multiple of 8, the bracket will fill itself out nicely after the vote. If we have one or two extra teams, a few teams will need to be chosen to make an automatic move to the second round. This will lengthen the schedule of one of the teams, which in my opinion should be the 1 seed since they are likely the strongest team.
Hope this pans out and I would love to participate. +1

Wow, a well written post that isn't derp or looking down on someone. Seems pretty normal, but then I saw who wrote it. :O

If the original scopes are bad (like in 1.0), then they can give an advantage. Other than that, custom skins can let you view the block at your feet in front of you, which is clearly a major advantage, and thus unfair.
We definitely got a lot of feedback, and I think we could start the league soon without all the cool software in place like leaderboards and IRC bots. We can track all of that through a thread. I propose the following draft of the rules.
An Impromptu League: meaning no fancy bo – dancy software.
The format
Capture the flag. First team to 5 wins or the team with the most caps after 20 minutes.
Teams are awarded 3 points for winning, 1 point for a tie, and 0 points for a lose.
Maps are symmetric and command post, spawn area, and intel are in fixed position on the map. You won’t win based off of random luck and you won’t lose because of it either.
Once you register a team, you will immediately be eligible to enter into a Round Robin match. In a Round Robin tournament all teams will have a match against each other. We will do this over the course of a month to allow people enough time to create their teams; we will end the Round Robin aspect of the league one month after it is announced, regardless if your team has played everyone or not. When two teams agree to a match their score afterwards in counted. We will only count the first match against two specific teams.
After the round robin, we will take the top 8 teams and use a single elimination bracket tournament to determine the season’s champion. Hopefully we can do that in the course of a weekend, if not two weekends. So a season would be roughly 6 weeks long.
The brackets would looks set up like below
We still have some unanswered questions. What versions do you want to play this on? 0.76?
What maps should we use? I am thinking 10 or so maps?
