Small spawn areas separated by a narrow passage surrounded by blocks that rise to the ceiling.

You sir are a boss. Hallway is the only map I keep coming back to. The longer a server has had the map up, the more interesting it gets

I overplayed this map a bit back in the day (late June/July 2011), there's just so much variety in what you can do. You can go through the centre making a goal of getting to the enemy spawn, you can build yourself a sniping spot, you can dig out a tunnel which can drastically change how the map plays out and it pretty much suits any style of play, people even go off and build secret hotels underground in the corner of the map which checkered flooring and everything. It also works with any number of players.

I luvd making hotels underground.I used to do it everytime I was with my friends until those Griefers came.Everything we worked so hard for was demolished in minutes. After that I never played hallway again.

This map reminds of the cardboard box the expensive toy comes in for a child. The kid's imagination takes over and has more fun with the box than the fancy bo dancy toy. Same thing here, a very simple map with unlimited possibility.
