Mumble is perfect for a bunch of gamers who don't know each other to talk. Skype is too much of a hazzle, and is designed for friends and family.

Skype is a lot more CPU intensive than it should be. Mumble doesn't take much to run. It's simpler, easier, and more efficient. Why don't you like it?
