Well, I guess some of you remember that 2008 game, Spore? It was a bit childish IMO but I used to love it and I'm looking to buy it again(old disc looks like a baby with razor butt sat on it), but I'm divided between buying it on the BR Origin for 20 reais(roughly 10 dollars, give or take a few cents) and there is Steam for 40 reais(20 dollars). I don't know which one to buy. On one hand there is the Origin one that is cheaper, but I'm afraid it has SecuROM, while it seems the Steam one doesn't. Also, there is the fact that one is EA and the other is, well, Steam.
I also have the option to buy it on the box, but there are a lot of inconveniences, such as having to wait 1~3 weeks because most of the stores are based in São Paulo while I live in Cuiabá, relatively far from SP, and if I buy it as download, I don't need to keep an extra box around taking space, besides in most Brazilian on-line stores it is quite expensive, and some don't even have the game.
On the other hand, dat box.

Rather unsurprisingly, Steam seems to be the winner.
One thing I forgot to mention: I have GA on Origin, will I have incompatibility problems from having Spore on Steam and GA on Origin?

GA? Anyways from what I've been told you can play steam games in origin but not the other way around. Dont quote me on this as I don't entirely know myself. Anyways, wait for a steam sale because it WILL get cheaper, probably by 50-75%.

GA is a Spore DLC.
Okay then, awwn.
I'm thinking about buying the complete pack anyway, in a steam sale. Supposing it gets 50% cheaper, it will fall to 50 reais, then it will be just 10 reais more than the base game.
