Introduction
This is a tutorial/tool that allows you to play Ace of Spades off a portable device and/or play Ace of Spades using an internet network where http://www.buildandshoot.com/ is blocked.

NOTE: If you have a premade Server File you wish to share please PM me with a download link, please upload to http://www.mediafire.com/.

NOTE: Place premade Server Files in "USB...\Ace of Spades\Servers"

Instructions

1. Install Ace of Spades by launching the executable file and following the on screen prompts.

2. Navigate to you "C" Drive and then copy/cut the folder "Ace of Spades".

3. Paste the "Ace of Spades" folder to the desired destination on your USB Drive.

4. Open Notepad and the copy and paste the text below into Notepad.

5. Now replace 'USB Drive...' with the directory you pasted your "Ace of Spades" folder into.

6. Go onto http://www.buildandshoot.com/ and find the server you use most often.

7. Right click on the server name and select "Copy Link Location" from the drop down menu that appears.

8. Now delete 'Server Code' from the Notepad document and replace it with the server code you paste.

9. While saving the notepad document change the option that says "Text Documents (*.txt)" to "All Files"

10. Now save it as "server name.bat" but replacing 'server name' with the name of your most used server. Save it to "...\Ace of Spades\Servers\server name.bat", you will have to create the Servers folder.

11. Do this for all servers you wish to use.

12. To launch Ace of Spades portable, open the ".bat" file of the server you wish to join, enjoy!

You really don't need downloads for each different server code.. just the codes, right, people know how to copy/paste generally. This seems handy for quickloading off of a usb though, I'm guessing for use on school computers and such?

It isn't Ace of Spades portable if it isn't portable, meaning people think this thread will let them play AoS on there IOS/android devices.

I can't seem to get this to work. I tried it on a school computer and even tried it on my computer by deleted all my files (I backed them up). I've followed all the steps mentioned in the post, but I keep getting this error message:

"There is no program associated to perform the requested action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default programs control panel."

Please help me out here!

Well, probably because it's just a simple concept posted by someone who hasn't been back since. If I am reading all this correctly all he is doing here is moving the Ace of Spades folder to a thumbdrive and then launching the game with batch files. Are you positive you followed the directions about copying your USB Drive path (or wherever you're trying to put Ace of Spades) in place of the regular path to Ace of Spades and copy/pasting the server addresses?
