If you can't work something simple out, then what hope do you have.

I just looked at some games and I must say I would like that Iceball goes such a way like this game Its called "The Trench" a WW1 game
I found some intresting things about it like
1. They have dynamic terrain , that means a no man's land that is under fire by Artillery and Mortars or at Fire
That's something very interesting making such "dead zones" that are under heavy fire would add a tactical aspect and also it would slow down enemy movement and would force the enemies to make shelters or to dig under the "zone"
All in all: Artillery or better compact mortars are something that are simply a must have in a WW1 game

2.Also a knife fight/duel is something connected to WW1 cause much soldiers fought in raided trenches at close combat ( But to have close combat like in WW1 we cant have Automatic rifles or The this Semi like now cause it shoots to fast so it doesn't even matter if you miss few shoots
All in all : a close knife combat game cant be made without ww1 weapons , the semi now fires too fast.

3.The game has "blind fire" that's when you take cover and you just fire blind with your weapon from cover. All in all that isn't something for Iceball but a weapon that can be deployed at walls and bunker walls would be awesome.

4.Dynamic Environment , That is a great thing for a "open world game" like Iceball Changing weather/time just as the changing battleground with day/night and snow/sun/rain, What wouldnt be hard to implant just as the snow mod demonstrated

This Post isnt meant to make Iceball like this game but its meant to show some great things it has.

I cannot use the connect-rakiru.bat file: It just opens, makes glitchy noises, then closes.
I believe I've edited my user.json correctly?

After having a quick look it looks fine. Try redownloading the game and that might fix it.

Change kick on join to:

false

(without Quotes)

As has been said, you need to set kick_on_join to false, rather than true. Thank you very much, however, for posting the way you did. You're the only person I've seen who has came here saying they had a problem and given us a decent description of what happened, the output and your config file. Few people seem to understand that without this relevant data, we can't give a relevant response.

We should add revolvers, cowboy hats, and broken bottles. Who doesn't like a drunken cowboy bar-fight when they don't know how to use revolvers?

Only about three people would be able to join as no one knows how to work it!

Feel free to make a mod. I've refactored the networking code, although the entity code refactor still hasn't happened yet.

We had a peak of I think 3 vs 3 on the Iceball Gaming Night.
Furthermore, we have had a 4 vs 4 earlier on in development.
Anyhow, tutorial ^^^

Doesn't that ruin the point of kick on join? I mean when I first started trying I thought my computer couldn't handle the game. Those are the kinds of people iceball could have. DO you really want a bunch of Jdrews running around?

I don't care who's playing at all. I'd rather have someone to fight against than someone saying "Don't kill me!" and just building.

kick_on_join is there to make people read the manual, which SHOULD have important shit like "don't fuck your own teammates up" and "this isn't grief grief revolution".

The tutorial I've given should be sufficient, if it's legitimately not, please ask about what needs elaboration.

It serves its purpose then, you should make it so the file opens open when you first downloaded it.
