Hello everyone, I recently downloaded OpenSpades 0.1.1c to play the game again but I keep receiving the error 'Failed to fetch server list'. I'm playing on a MacBook Air.
Does anyone know what I could do to fix the issue?

The only thing I can think of is you don't have an internet connection, in which case I'm surprised you can post stuff.

lol, my internet appears to be fine. I can still connect to servers using the ip address and url, its just that the server list won't show up.
Thnx for your reply :)

Maybe you accidentally messed cl_serverListUrl?
Antivirus/Firewall might be a possibility too.

My cl_serverListUrl is http://services.buildandshoot.com/serverlist.json
I don't know about the antivirus or firewall.
Maybe MacAfee is interfering with the connection I guess?

That's the correct URL. I believe it's either McAfee or some builtin security on macOS.
Try temporarily disabling McAfee or whitelist OpenSpades on it. If it doesn't solve your problem, I have no idea what else could it be that's causing the problem (I never owned or touched an mac in my life).

I managed to fix it yay!
It turns out all I had to do was switch off my mac (I hadn't turned it off in months) and update it.
