0.76 should be pushed as the main version

I remembered using 0.76, and it had some tweaks that addressed a lot of complaints. The SMG was no longer a constant laser stream of DEATH, the rifle cone was gone, and I remember a couple of other interesting tweaks. My question is, is why was this build not used for Build and Shoot? It is better in many ways, and not less stable as far as I can tell, so why not use it?

This threads where posted thousand thimes , but they are of no use. At the end someone will give you a link of .76 and say there is a masterserver(with 1 server on it) that is never never played.
All in all This was posted much much times but the admin/moderators dont want to make it the dafult version. And that's it

Vucgy has summed it up, People have their opinions and I like .75 more though I think it will be implemented when we get the launcher going but can't say for sure.

Once, the multi-version launcher is out, petition server owners instead and you might get somewhere.

Personally, I don't think this would be the greatest idea. There are scripts and game modes that people love to use. If we pushed this there would be a lacking amount of variety. It would take some time to get everything up to date.
Not to mention, we already lost quite a few players to Jagax and such. We shouldn't risk losing more over a silly little version.

we have pyspades for 0.72 too. Porting scripts should be trivial.

Ok then, I was more just curious as to why it wasn't pushed to the main version. I didn't know of the work on the multi-version launcher, I will wait until then.
