But the much more often problem is that you haven't reeded the manual and disabled join-kick

And there is no point of "MANUAL" since everything u need is in "doc" folder. So start making conclusions before acting rude. Just pointing out flaws for RTFM guys.So I'm not the only one that found nearly everything the manual had to say useless?

Once it's finished the manual will be made readable by most people.

or maybe people could stop being so lazy and take 5 minutes to read through stuff so that they actually know how to do something

Vucgy wrote:Then they should have read the instructions that say "run connect-rakiru.bat". iceball-gl.exe is not more of a "trap" than iceball.exe.rakiru wrote:Its a "trap" someone downloads it first time and sees iceball-GL and tough its Open GL or is just curious and opens it and the the game blocks.Vucgy wrote:Yep , but its a honey trap come on open-GLThat didn't make sense. STRIKE081 wrote:Rakiru is in uni, wonder what he's doing. Mabey he is going to get one and can help make the manual actually helpful!Exactly, I'm at uni, so I don't have much time to work on this. Due to that, I'd rather spend my time on fixing bugs and adding features, than answering questions about bugs we already know about from people who didn't look at the issue tracker (or don't know what an issue tracker is), or writing documentation that may become outdated pretty quickly, which can be worse than no documentation at all. If anyone with free time wants to help, we're perfectly happy for them to do so.
Remember, this is a project that people are doing in their spare time, for free. It's not fair to get all pissy and demand this, that and the next thing, especially since this is still effectively in alpha.
Edit: STRIKE, that wasn't aimed at you btw.
