Any chance of a mod for ingame map editing

One thing I liked about jagex's ace of spades was the ability to build maps with my friends. Any chance of there being a "creative mode" made that can save edits to maps?

If you can host a server you can use that approach. I suspect there's even a service these days on this site that lets you do something along the lines of a 1.x Custom Game. In that case, you'd hit F1 to save a local copy of the map.
