This are actually quite nice & compact arena maps .
fy_pool_day looks most promising here to me. Would be great if you could post some pictures.
Unfortunately, all maps lack gates, you could build them on the map (in red color would be best practice), and then add the location of one gate block as a value for "arena_gates" in the map TXT file. If you need any help with making the gates, i'll be glad to help out however.

and tried to put the arena_gate and get error :c
