At least he's trying though. Better than nothing, but not a replacement for AOS as a whole imo.
I believe what you are looking for is IB ;)

Yah, it's definitely promising. I'm just giving it some more time to see what direction it's headed in or if it dies out again.

Alright, I'll tell you what I think. It's a no. YVT hasn't been active for at least a year and I bet he decided to let this community and all OS players go down the drain. He got me interested at first when I saw OS for the first time. I was happy and I was glad to have something new. BUT, after awhile I have slowly lost interest because YVT hasn't been active. <<< I know, not scientific stuff. If it were to be standalone, it would of been a standalone game. But, to give YVT some credit, I guess there wasn't enough people that were too interested in this game so he had NO motivation. But for now, I am going to just give up on Iceball, VXW and Openspades. You know why? Because no one will give a shit about helping out the game. I've tried my best to help out with the game, but hell with it, It will never succeed. I see these three games as just utter shit and will never compete against AoS' players. So yeah, I don't believe so, Warp.

I have to somehow agree.
Weeks ago, when Jagex announced BnL, I realized that the hype for voxel FPS and similar is over. The cow is milked. We're no pioneers anymore in the genre, which is no niche now. There's competition between 1.0, 0.75, OpenSpades, BnL, IceBall (despite the big differences in gameplay between Jagex games and others) and probably small indie fakes. Moreover, it's only likely to go down, now that it is being commercially exploited and fucked up by marketing.
However, I think we have a chance if we get our shit together. Or, to be more precise, make something out of Iceball: get people, get content and fix the engine.

Also, look at 3079 lol.

But, there is hope. The big thing most other voxel games are missing is customize-ability. If GreaseMonkey can get it to the point where each and every server can feel like its own entire new game then we can have a very diverse and prosperous community. One server can play like classic AOS and be a trench warfare server from WWII with tanks, grenades, mustard gas, etc.. and another server can be a bunny-hopping fast paced 1-shot-1-kill arena based shooter. Also, imagine a server that is able to run multiple maps and even become an RPG based server where you go on quests to kill AI zombies or whatever else and can slowly upgrade stats or maybe a DayZ inspired game (huge map) where you can go to the edge of one voxel map and load into a new one and keep everything you had on the other one and it be almost like a seamless transition. Or why not even make it so maps can be massively huge instead?

Fair enough. You don't have to be so negative though. Anyway, I thought you were "dead"

This idiocy makes me rage so hard.
AoS still exists.
And then someone complains how Aos is bad and yet still here.

Did I complain about AoS? And why exactly is BnS supposed to be only bound to what I was talking about?
