I'm trying to make a simple player skin mod, but I've been sitting here for a while now trying to find the OpenSpades resources files from Slab6.
Anyone know how?

To access player and weapons models, you need to open the Resources folder located in your OS directory and search into pak010_BaseSkin (if I remember correctly). Player models are in Models>Player.

But how do you access the OS directory FROM Slab6?
I know how to get to it, just not from Slab6.

Heh, sorry, didn't understand ^^. I don't know if it's possible, and why would you do that? I personaly don't open them directly FROM slab6, so I can't really help you, apologies...

PS: If you just wanna know how to open a model, it's File>Open and then you go in the Resources folder where you installed OS, but I don't know if it's possible to open pak archives with slab6 file browser. Also, sorry if I'm not clear or if I don't really understand what you're asking for.

Hm, okay.
Is there any other program that works with KV6 files?

There is Qubicle, which is not free, sadly. But if you want, you can use VoxelShop! It's better for editing models than slab6, I think, and totally free. Here's a link: http://blackflux.com/node/11
I'll do a mega-tutorial on OpenSpades modding among January/February, you can stay tuned on my modding topic if you want.

Sorry for not being able to really help you :/
