Well LeCom if you're reading this be a dear and share some details, keep us up to date. VXW is a small infant that needs nursing to keep people interested and aware of its existence. Not really at the point yet to have top secret info...

Secondly, it's not my style to promise stuff or tell my exact plans for every small thing.
Finally, the few people that are interested are hyped more if the next update is a surprise.

Fair enough. I don't expect you to promise shit or set a release date, that would be unfair to you because thats not something you can guarantee. Rereading my post it sounds like I was asking for specifics... you're right in leaving things up to mystery. Still, making a formal announcement somewhere that an update is coming is a long way from a modder dropping a rumor about vague features.
To your point about no one giving a fuck, I agree this is largely true. However I also think its the responsibility of VXW supporters, you and I included, to generate interest and present ourselves professionally regardless of the environment. Playing to an empty audience should be just as important as Madison Square Garden. Thats pretty dramatic yes, this is only a game patch, but its still important for the future.
If I wasn't able to count the people behind this project on my fingers I would say that sure lets keep it on the down low, the community will buzz for itself. However in this case VXW can only benefit from being as loud as possible about its activities and looking more lively than BnS/AoS. To a random visitor or a desperate googler looking for an AoS alternative it can really make a difference.
Anyway, take what I've said and dismiss it as I know you will.
