Well... I have an idea for the forum that can make us all admins... I change the name of my admin to "Admin" and make my own account that is a mod. I share the admin password and username with all the mods so they can make changes with a warning of course. :)

Moving towards the event. I have the impression that sounds aren't bearable, so they will be different in the next release.
the supercoolnerds isn't related to VXW in any way. I just have put a nice page there instead of making an own website or something (and BnS has dumb limitations).

Alrighty, Lecom! The decision is made! We will definately have that admin thing worked out :) You can do it right now... If you want. Remember, just look at the admin panel (at the "Welcome Admin" or the bottom of page)

I like the concept behind vxw, but you're overhyping it way too early.

oh btw, someone can make a better forum for VXW. I am quite sick of seeing ones that you have to pay for etc. (And yes, I do know that is just how they make muny. duh)

If not now, when else? It's in a playable state right now. I'm fixing sounds and some bugs I saw right now.

I think IceCream (IceTea on IRC) knows something smart that he wants to say concerning that.

Updated to 0.0.1.5:

-Fixed many bugs
-Improved sounds (better code and some sound files changed)
-Reduced internet usage, especially with few players on

This should be ready for the event. What do you say?

As I was saying in the "Transition" thread, it would help new players coming in and make the game look much better if you could include:

- A more polished options screen
- A better, more "modern" UI over all.

I'm going to make some concepts so you can see what I mean, I'm happy to contribute with graphics Green_BigSmile

Is it so hard to edit the config.ini? I can add a program that just sorts the options and creates an input text field for every entry. The question is whether it's necessary.
Editing the UI code is a piece of cake, I just don't get what your problem is. The best option is just making it customizable.
Is there any actual problem that makes it unplayable? (the different aiming balances stuff, just like the SMG nerf)

I would like it so that you can mod the UI so that the UI mods are either PNG or BMP. Because with OS, I don't like how much restriction you get when doing UI modding. :/

You can already now mod UI icons and graphics. Not sure if there will be png support, bmp works fine and doesn't slow shit down.

One thing- can you make it so when you can interact with an object- like a mortar- it has a prompt- like "Press E to use" etc?

Also, how could you generate an alternative font? Green_Happy1
