You sir, are too stupid to use basic logic with.
And you sir, are too stupid to shut up instead of starting to offend others.
You're cute. I think I'll keep you around.

Now, after Ben left, there's indeed no way of playing anymore that could be forced. But the current situation is certainly a lot different than how it was just when .75 was released, at the time when Ben could more or less do what he wanted. And you should stop claiming that no one tries to change it.
Aside from the people making OpenSpades (if they even are anymore) and organizing events, all anyone's doing is making more dime-a-dozen posts on the forums about how things totally need to change, just someone else has to do it.

Also the tired argument of "this is why everyone left" is worthless, most of all the older people I knew left because the game just stopped being fun for them, like all games do. There was never a mass exodus of the"real AoS players " (again, not a thing) they just found better shit to do.

BnS is almost dead. Except for the "lounge" and "other games" sections (interesting, how everything else is dead, but these ones aren't) and sometimes a post in the clan or weapon modding section, there's rarely anyone posting anything anywhere. I noticed that the player count, however, is partly encreasing (I suppose this is because winter makes people stick more to their PCs), so we basically don't have this game "organization" by BnS, and all this is instead becoming a pile of random casual players playing on another pile of random servers.
I notice this happens a lot as communities get older (think Tribal Wars, Runescape, etc). The initial player base grows up and stops playing and after that the community mushrooms to a point where meaningful interaction just doesn't take place anymore. It's just a shame that people don't feel the need to interact with the community at large.
There's a point in just decreasing the server count, so we have few but populated servers instead of 90 empty ones (no exageration)
I've been thinking the same thing for a while. Apply to be a part of a featured server list (which would be the first to display) - if you have competent moderation and game settings, you get on the front page of servers. All other servers go on a second page. This way, people can still host servers relatively simply, but the 'good' servers will attract more of the playerbase.
It's a similar problem with arena and hallway. Most people think that just because a bunch of 12 years old brasilian kids, which happened to become the majority, likes to play arena on hallway, we should all support it.
Well hey now, I love Hallway and Arena (though I agree Arena has been a hemorrhage on our userbase since so many of the kiddies playing are just looking for a free version of Cowadoody).

It's been all this time and you idiots are still getting mad about the same shit. Wow.

There is no "right way" to play AoS, nothing you say changes this fact. The game is built on customization. If you're upset that people have fun in a way you don't like, then organize some event, start a server, do something more proactive than whining on the forums about how the other people's fun is ruining yours.
This from the wanker who used to bitch about SMGays and Squads. Blue_Happy3

Well yeah, it's just fine to not like something, but demanding everyone else feel the way is when you go full retard.

Also for the record I regret making the NOOB SMG model

LeCom, answer this question:

Who are you to say what AoS should or shouldn't be?
You can't, right?

Right.

So in that case, let people play hallway/arena/cs_maps, develop their own game modes and play on servers they like without some two-faced mouth-breathing cunt telling them that they should do this or that, or just walking into everyone's fun in a game you so call as

Nay, I'm just some guy who thinks that everything should be in AoS, not only hallway and arena. But did I tell anyone to agree in my first post in this thread? Nope. Did I tell anyone to do anything? Neither. If you are so liberal, you should accept criticism on the current situation.

There's nobody stopping anyone from playing what they want.

The only thing trying to stop anyone from playing what they want is the crowd demanding that pinpoint and hallway be banned.

Reuben has made allot of great points, like this one.

I think this discussion should be over, seeing as we have gone off topic from whats next.
On an end note though, Openspades is obviously the next step forward with the BnS community, there is no doubt to me about that, and no one on the forums can accurately predict the future.

Actually I'd say that death is the future of the BnS community, and that the Jagex version will be the only thing that truly carries on.

As already mentioned, openspades is basically AoS with better graphics, sounds and stuff like a server list.
But to go on, BnS needs something a lot different than AoS, since it's already boring as fuck.

The BnS community is pretty much guaranteed to die, seeing how high the ratio of whiners/doers is.
