You'd have to be careful note to make it OP though. (This wouldn't fit in with the WW2 theme though)
Spoiler:
I don't mind a plane view, but there won't be much sense in implementing a gun, since you won't hit anything on the ground from a flying plane.
I think that would be nice. If you would click on a section on the map. (For instance B4) Then you could do a quick pan over from 100 blocks up in the sky with a downward facing camera. And then you could make it so you have 3 bombs and you can click anywhere in the grid to drop the bombs. This way, it's not graphic intensive and the bombing is a little more interactive than it is now to add the "human" element. This way you can target a specific bunker a little more. And you would only have about 5 seconds or so as the time that it takes you to pan over the area you're bombing. Also, your player would stay in the same area while you're bombing, so you would be vulnerable to being shot.
Last suggestion if it does get implements, would be if you don't have a model of a plane flying overhead, you could just change the color of the sky to a slightly darker shade for the duration of the bombing, so people know there is an attack and can look up.
It's a pity we can't do it the "normal plane" way though. It would be cool to have anti-air guns. :))))

I more thought of a "big" bombardment, with several planes flying around (not many at one time) and bombing one position you marked, maybe the player will be able to move the marker around. I did first tests with one single plane with the size I wanted (pretty badass) flying past a specific location, the framerate decreases noticeably, but I think it's bearable. If not, it's still possible to make the KV6 smaller.

What I mean about the camera is that when I move the mouse, the camera tilts side-to-side so much it's very hard for me not aim- can't it be like the classic client (maybe a lesser affect). Is this what is known as drunken camera?? Can't find a definition, so maybe I'm being stupid.
I can't wait for the 'planes doe. :D

Yes. That is drunken Cam. The reason behind it is so that people can't do 360 no-scope. Same here, I am excited for the planes :D :D
What if I had more game-modes would be more room.
/w lobby room //I know a little bit who plays minecraft it recognizes
And commands to get to the other room would also. (but there could be a walk)

Sadly, there will be no clan rifle-one-shot-headshot-rifle-spammer rank.

SADLY???
Mane, such douchebags are the main reason why AoS .75 and .76 are spoiled.
@Dany0: There's a public version on the first post.
Is it possible to to change mouse sensitivity or something because while the drunken camera is interesting, i would like to tone it down a little.
Is VoxelWar going to be it's permanent name?
At the moment, You can't change the mouse sensitivity. And, I think that VXW will be its permanent name.
The mouse movement code is indeed fucked up a bit, I'm currently fixing it. When ready, it won't be easier to aim (because it shouldn't), but it will work better.
I think VoxelWar is a good name and I'm not going to rename it again unless there's a real reason for that.
Hey guys! Apparantly, according to Lecom, there is this successor to voxlap called PN3D. It will be released in a couple of weeks and Lecom wants to convert VXW to this new engine!
