Yes, I use Voxelshop to make my mods now, and slab6 for pivot adjusting. (All of the mods I make that have 3d interactive previews are made in Voxelshop, because I can export to such a file that Sketchfab supports, like .dae).

1x1 would make it too small, and not be centrally aligned to the gun.

The scripts don't seem to be limited to just halving, I've used them to scale to any size really and they seem to work fine. This gun is amazing. Have you used the reflex sight mod at all? That would look fantastic on this model.
