You do need a new computer, really. Or get some more memory/processing power because I think that's what you are missing.
Anyhow, as a start, maybe you should try modding Voxlap AoS first. It's a lot easier because you don't have to worry about voxel sizes and scripts and all that crap.
That aside, on your first mod. The first thing is the trigger guard, I didn't see it anywhere. No, basing on your mod's size you don't need an actual trigger, just a trigger guard will do(except for cases like the Steyr AUG, I usually put a voxel for the trigger since the gun didn't hae a trigger guard). Then the magazine. One-voxel thick will do(but it's fine if you keep the bottom 'puller' 3 thick, round the corners and it will be fine). The barrels, well to be frank, I can't recognize it. Basing on your reference picture, the upper line should be longer. The detachable iron sights should be a bit bigger, if they even exist. And finally, the stock is a gigantic mess(messed up the order, sorry). I think you kinda forgot the bit (basing on the picture, order: left to right, with left as the barrel) right after the grip and the 'hole'. And one thing, not every detail needs a voxel, you can use colors as a substitude, say the rails on the top and the side. Other than all the details I have listed, not too shabby for a beginner, I've seen things much worse.

I see. Restricted, eh? Me too, but I got around it with a lot of useful tools:
To install Voxlap AoS, download Universal Extractor Portable. It should extract the setup file and 'reveal' the content inside.
Next, either using cmd (which doesn't work for me for some reason) with the command: client.exe aos://(server IP here). (Of course you should have changed the prompt's directory with the 'cd' command).
Or, use a launcher. BnS launcher would still require installation (in order for the aos:// protocol to work, it needs to modify the registry which is something we couldn't do), so Moose's Royal Spades is a better choice. This one requires Java, so you'd look up jPortable and jPortable Launcher. Guides can be found on the interwebs.
By the way, if you came across Portable App Platform, download it too and use it to download the 3 programs I listed. It's very helpful should you be restricted. And please use the 'Edit' button.
By the way again, the template isn't really that useful to be honest. The default rifle is enough as a template, after all unless you're utterly retarded you can distinguish back, front, up and below pretty easily, but good effort nonetheless.

Nice to see people cooperating so well :)
If you need help with scripts, PM or email me. I might not respond even a month, but I do get the work done.

Have you always wanted a sound tinnitus effect in AoS?
No?
Anyway, here it is for OpenSpades!
