Graphics-wise I think the original 1.0 is definitely something to aim for
also, the first major deviation from what we currently have as far as new shit is concerned will probably be some kind of universal sidearm, but it's way too early to decide on specifics yet :p

You could have a semi-automatic pistol and a revolver for your sidearms, maybe a shotgun with a smaller barrel and pistol-grip only?

Will you work with the voxlap engine? I think it's the best way to bring AoS' feel.

I wouldn't go too crazy with sidearms just yet, first we basically want to get the engine ready to go and have stuff working, then go about recreating the feel of the original AoS beta versions and complicate it a little.

Yup, definitely possible and definitely what if we want to do. If at all possible depending on legal things we'll try to make it handle kv6 & vxl files for modification and map-making.

Make it as moddable as possible. Support modding from the start.

Expanding the moddable kv6's question, for weapons is there only going to be 1 kv6 file for the model (like AoS), or several more for magazines, sights, etc (like OpenSpades)?

If there is any chance of having customizable guns, I'd assume that there would be seperate kv6's for the said pieces of the gun. If different colours are taken into account also, that would be a hell lot of kv6's though.

I would very much be in favor of separate kv6s for gun parts. The more you can customize the better.
