Still, to be completely honest, Advanced Warfare sounds more interesting than Battlefield-fucking-Hardline, in my opinion.
Oh well, games are losing creativity nowadays. Indie developers is the future!

Colin I would use on big maps and just reap in the dough. Then I would spend it on stupid stuff like creating secret fleets in the middle of the ocean... good times...

After countless road trips with the GBA and NDS, I've figured how to counter Grit's barrage of indirect fire and how to deal with Colin's swarming unit. You guys tend to spend funds irresponsibly which end up being your downfall because you never end up using those units. As long as I maintain dominance in vision, I can easily pick out spots where rockets or artillery miss in fog and roll in with some Md's or Neos. Also Grit players forget about the ratio between their indirect units and their supply units (Late game grits run out of ammunition very quickly). Keep in mind that both relatively suck ass in direct fire (Colin is so weak LOL).Teeth wrote:This is now an Advanced Wars thread. Who is your favourite CO? Mine is...I always liked Grit and Colin. Teeth wrote:Lol, I haven't played in years. Sold all of my gameboys and all of my games several years ago to a non-english speaking family for $30. Better than gamestop pricing which was like $0.10 a game, but still one of the worst decisions of my life.Mr.Torch wrote:Ah, that sounds exactly like my brother's playstyle. Grit I would tend to setup artillery near cities and buildings and if I couldn't I would have APCs (or whatever the supply truck things were) that would rotate to the different stations. I would then barrage like crazy until I made a hole and then rush and repeat.
Colin I would always just use to spam. I would usually distract on the main rout with lots and lots of really hard to kill but cheap units to buy time. Then I would create large fleets to go around and quickly drop off and defend an infantry unit on their capital. :3
Btw, did you ever play any of the Megaman battle network games? That was one of my other favorites when I was younger.

Same here, it's been a while since I've played too. I miss playing during kids parties with the other guys on the DS, playing 4 player maps and just rotating turns for hours and hours on end. Sadly no, I haven't played Megaman battle network but I will look into it

They took out all the depth and gave it more eye-candy from what I've seen. I might pick up a DS and one of the newer ones one day just to try it out though.

3d printers dont work like that and I doubt that in a two hundred years you can use one to have a gun that 3d-prints its own bullets
@battlefield hardline
no police force in america has light machine guns or will allow the amount of collateral damage that occurs in the game
edit: anyone ever see this movie?

Elysium? Yeah, and...
All I could see from that picture is Matt Damon, equipped with an old-gen exoskeleton, and an AKM with jungle style mags and some sort of antique reflector sight + laser aiming module.
Am I over-analyzing the picture?
