Terrorists are always from the east which is makes me feel they are stereotyped. In almost every call of duty or FPS in general you are fighting Germans,Russians, and sometimes both. Now that doesn't mean every shooter is like that only most. So I ask you, if you are from one of the countries that are always in media how does it make you feel? Always hearing about someone being killed or even watching someone kill your people in a game. I myself think that Russians are big muscular athletes that can do anything but that probable isn't the reality of it. So what do you think, or is this just not happening at all and none of them care?

Your lack of watching the news and lack of perspective irks me. Let me get my number one issue off my chest. Terrorists kill innocents. You imply that they are "men" because they kill people. You are not a man because you kill innocent people, or killing people in general. If you kill someone, it means you did it out of self-defense, religiously brainwashed, or you have had all morality about killing someone removed from you. Soldiers are able to kill because they have had their killing morality stripped from them. That is what that training is for. Number two, there are plenty of mass shootings and terrorist bombings in Europe and North America. Because they kill doesn't make them "men" like you suggest. They kill because they don't see people as people, but as objects. They don't have killing morality. They can't tell right from wrong, and they don't feel remorse. It doesn't make them "manly", it makes them deranged scocipaths.

It is racist that in almost every video game the bad guys are from the east, yes the west have blown up a few buildings and killed a bunch of children but other then that there isn't any information about it. So I asked if you are from one of the countries that are always getting stereotyped how does it make you feel? To me I think people should stop having the east in every thing. Though there might not be many people who hate Germans for being a terrorist in some game but I am sure there are.

No I haven't but I hear its bloody, I have played both modern, WW2, and futuristic. Most of the games now are modern though so the theme is again Russians or sometimes places like Iraq or Afghanistan if you look at MW1 and MW2. I think I could name least 20 games that stereotype a race from the east. Besides you yourself didn't answer the question at all.

The question would be fine if not for the racism. To answer the title of the thread: I have no idea what you are talking about, people in the west get shot every day. To answer the question in the OP: I don't play many games with terrorists, the exception being CS:GO. I think that the terrorists in that game are not stereotyped.

His original post, if you read what people quoted, was gruesomely misworded so that it seemed as if he was asking why when people from the east attack others it's called terrorism and why people from the west attack others nobody cares. He also said it was racist that this was so.
