I would use the openspades sounds instead since it is opensource and AoS isn't

We might ended up getting sued by Jagex for that. There are sound libraries all over the web, ypu can look them up; alternatively you can ask yvt for his OpenSpades sound files.

That or ask a modder to make sound files for you, that way you can be specific to exactly how you want the game to sound.

Impossible, unless you're a super-richfag with a recoding studio. The only thing we can do is to look for sounds in free libraries. You can't even synthesize sound files without sounding really weird.

Or you just mix a few sounds together and release them as a sound pack. We have a community with a lot of modders, so I don't really care about the default mod. It will just be a few example pics, KV6 and sounds.

New stuff
-The clip is renderd now instead of showing a number
-Applied Voxlap's shader to the minimap overview, this is the shaded Brige Wars: Classic client: To clearify, this is no interpolating, anti-aliasing, smoothing or anything similar. It's just the maps showing the voxel shadows generated by Voxlap.
-New KV6 shading code. Also, experimental fog shader (and an attempt to make my own player models xP): -Cursor moves around randomly when in air, sprinting or toggling crouch, against MLGaying and crouch spamming
-Shotgun (just like in AoS classic, but spread works differently)

Just a question, how random will the cursor be? I have a suggestion for that:
When sprinting, cursor moves left to right(much like the screen in OpenSpades while you're sprinting, but with the cursor)
When crouching, cursor moves down and up(same as above, but vertically).
Great progress, by the way.
Also, while can't I load any images in BnS mobile version?

You feel more like in an actual war if everything is shaking ;)
The classic SMG has recoil that is constantly going left and right. People "evade" this recoil by moving their mouse accordingly. If it's random, it's a lot harder to do that. Same with sprint/crouch/in air.

Might just as well as to apply a darker, gray-ish fog for the sake of World War One feel :D
Can you make the fog slightly transparent instead of the usual AoS 'solid' fog? It would be very cool when you see a silhoutte in the shadows, take aim, and shoot, and ended up killing a teammate. Which bought up this: make the game a bit like Red Orchestra, no HUD at default and must be bought up with a button. And all the HUD has is the objective(intel in good ol' CTF), your tent and intel, etc. No ammo indicator, must check your ammo by holding R(which gives a vague description like, 'your magazine is half-empty')....
Oh man, I can continue until the end of the world, please check some Red Orchestra gameplay and you'll see what I mean. Also Verdun-WW1 Unity-based FPS.
It's not that I want this client to be an exact copy of RO, but for the ultimate World War feel,... Yeah.

Will there be any graphical improvments at all?
Will there only be the Rifle,SMG and Shotgun, or will we be able to have classes in the future?

If you are asking for graphical improvements, you should read the whole topic and especially the first post I did today which is even on this page.
Since this is all classic, there will be no classes of course. Hardcoded weapons are going to be removed, there will be like 8 weapon slots, and admins can put any weapon stats in. Maybe it will be possible to assign different weapon stats to each player.
Oh yeah, the WW feel. That's one of the things I want to achieve. I didn't understand the suggestion with fog, but teamkilling is a bad idea, and I am already trying to make the screen as clear as possible (not easy with the chat tho, but maybe I'll move it to the upper left corner since I'm not planning to add a kill feed),

Fair enough. It's your own game, I can understand.
And by the fog, I mean that instead of the current 'classic' fog, maybe you can reduce its opacity a bit?
Also, by the way, have you thought of a name for your client? I'm thinking of Ground Aces (to not be confused with aces as in good pilots).
