AoS doesn't work on windows 8

1. Yes it does, I have Windows 8 and I play without any problems.

2. No one will/is able to help you if you do not provide any information. What happens when you try to play? Do you get an error message? Have you installed anything recently that might affect your ability to run AoS?

Right now, this topic is pointless because even if somebody wanted to help you, they wouldn't be able to.

I play AoS on Windows 8 all the time without and problems. Maybe there is on 8.1? Specify your problem please.

Right now, this topic is pointless because even if somebody wanted to help you, they wouldn't be able to.

When I try to play, it just shows the startup screen, and the only key theat seems to work is the esc key, since keys 1,2 and 3 are all non-responding. And no, This issue arose shortly thereafter I set up windows 8.1.
And no, there's no error message. just the startup "pick your team" screen, and the only key working is esc.
There's nary a single program that could hinder my gameplay. (the only program that could possibly be webroot, since I downloaded it from softonic...)

When it retried, it asked me if I want to launch the app or do nothing. I clicked Launch app, and checked off "remember my choice". Then the game asked me to type in a name, and when it got to team selection, the fucking game failed to respond to me pressing keys 1-3.

I'm using WIndows 8.1 Jenovo.
