Are there any selection tools for slab6 or anyway to move the model?
Is there also a way to check the co-ordinates of a voxel?
And finally, I can't seem to set slab6 as the default program for kv6 files. The App is located in a folder on my desktop

The folder needs to be a folder and not a .zip or other type of compressed file. Slab6 is a model editing tool. You can move the model around in voxed using the num-pad on your keyboard. You can edit the pivots in the slice editor.

Based Drew, Thanks a bunch
In case anyone wants to know, I'm trying my hand at an AK5c
If I'm not horrible at gimp, I'll try doing it Skynet's way, with a grid

Just a small thing that I've noticed, the position of the 'pivot' on a model decides how the player will hold it and how it's rendered as a view model as well.
Well, time to update my weapons again.
