Srbdude2: The colours are standard for everyone, and this (to my knowledge) is the only complaint we've had thus far. It is ny understanding that quite some time was spent finding the best colours, and this was the result. This was done in voxlap, which a majority of players use. The request is acknowledged but there's not a lot that can be done, because we need to account for the majority, not special requests. Perhaps you could make a poll with your alternative as the subject, and if you can garner enough support it could definitely be considered for season 6. The answer, as blunt as it is, is to simply not use OpenSpades if you'd like the brighter targets. Thanks :)

Willy I thought the situation was simple. Here's how I see it, you have 2 colours that have the same shade of tone to them. To avoid the situation of players friendly firing at their own team which I also did state that it wasn't just me that was having this problem because Oppy uses vox to. You just don't use the colours so that this problem won't occur or make one of the colour's tones lighter. Therefore the players can call out and shoot their opponents correctly and so every player is satisfied. I'm not going to waste my time making a bias poll I know for sure that some people just don't like me blindly (using only smg fgt yadeydeyda that 4 year old bs). and lastly I can only use Openspades due to the strangely low frame rates I get using the original client. btw if you didn't realise what colours I was talking about, it was the Dark blue and Dark red.

Not sure why the dark red/ dark blue was the agreed upon pair of colours to use.. for the very reason that is it hard to distinguish teammates from enemies. Regardless I was under the impression that the pairs of colours that would be used would have been between either grey/ orange or pink/ blue.

Criteria:

1. Both colours to be distinguishable from the distances(measured in blocks) as follows; 30, 50, 80, 120
2. Neither colour will not blend into the terrain/ scenery

Pink/ Blue

• Pros
• A = ✓
• B = ✓
  Cons
• Some dislike to the colour
  • Rebuttal: Get over yourself..

Grey/ Orange

• Pros
• A = ✓
• B = ✓
  Cons
• Blend into default block colour
  • Rebuttal: Any colour can blend in just as well you just need to select it, everyone has an adequate amount of time to text out simple things like this and figure out what is best suited for the job..

Dark Red/ Dark Blue

• Pros
• A = X
• B = ✓
  Cons
• Difficult to distinguish between teams
  • Rebuttal: Good situational awareness would make this problem nonexistent..

Green/ Blue

• Pros
• A = ✓
• B = X
  Cons
• Green has an advantage, blending in with terrain
  • Rebuttal: Change colours..
