So recently I've started using the BNS launcher, but I noticed that servers I regularly log onto are very laggy, both in framerate and in ping. Since this hasn't happened to me before I'm starting to wonder if it's the launcher that's causing this.
Anybody care to leave some insight?

It's most likely something to do with your computer, or your internet connection (the latter is more likely to happen, this game can run on a toaster). Try playing another online game and see if you have any of the same problems. If you do, then it is your internet connection at fault.

Launch the game with CMD like all pros do.
But really, have no idea why that is. Maybe your internet happened to get better when you uninstalled it.

How do I launch the game with CMD Prompt?
-
LeCom
open CMD, enter
cd "C:\program files\aos"
or if you have win 7, shift+right click and select "open CMD here" instead, then copy link from server list, type
client.exe "
then right click paste the server address, press " and enter, and it will start. But I am sure that someone has a .bat launcher.

trying to correct people =/= being helpful
fps drops are a form of lag
if you've uninstalled the launcher you don't really need to worry about starting the game via command prompt (unless you want to alternate between 75 and 76, in which case you should at least manage the game installations with the launcher - they are located in "%APPDATA%\Build and Shoot\Game Installations" rather than "C:\Ace of Spades\" and you can still launch them via command prompt).
I'd be interested in seeing how you go launching via cmd with the bns launcher installed and if that solves your problem/s. give it a shot? :o

I did, and it works pretty good. Not gonna lie. The launcher is a lot easier to use, but whatever
