the best way to fish is trolling, it is more fun, you get more fish, and you are no just sitting there, you are actually moving. and if you got a bobber on a boat you can let out a bottle and shoot at it with a bb gun.
but when i was trolling yesterday at hiwassee lake i caught a big flipping striped bass. it was really good eating.

People do it because they enjoy it. To them it is not a waste of time. Open your mind and do not look at things based off of personal bias. Also, China isn't poor, lol. There are a lot of rural areas, but China is far from poor.
