They also don't work in the terms of gameplay either. The semi-auto rifle matches a normal semi-automatic pistol in terms of magazine, but you would have to fix the sounds, the range would be too much, etc. Full-auto pistols would be OK with SMG, but for revolvers the best base is the Shotgun, but the range would be too short and inaccurate. Not to mention that a pistol wouldn't fit as a primary weapon with the other weapons as well.

Maybe you can base it off Battlefield Bad Company 2's one.
