Have you used the modified version of OpenSpades 0.0.11 in the first post of the thread? Have you followed the instructions correctly?Let me rephrase this, ik about the modded version but the problem is I use the New Open Spades that came out for Mac osx, and if i get build and shoot on and program it for mac it takes a ton of work and plugins and I'm just way to stupid and lazy to do that.

Edit: I added the pngsight-5.pak file, put my mods in, but when I ran the game, it didn't load and showed an error, so I don't think you can mod OpenSpades on Mac, sorry.

I'm dissapointed to be completely honest, your thread lacks consistency, if your going to change your theme for the gun showcase then update this for every gun, it looks terrible at its current state, the further you scroll down the page the worse it gets...
The new theme you have started using doesn't have any previews.... This is unacceptable in my opinion, what happened to "no pics, no clicks"...
Moving on to the gun models, time and time again the gun stocks are impaling the poor deuces. The lack of alignment with your models is astounding, this meaning the triggers for the guns and the stocks do not line up with the majority of your models. On top of all this you consistanly oversize your models...
All in all I'm frustrated in the quality of models coming from modders..

Your post doesn't seem very helpful, it's just mostly bashing, at least put some positive comments and helpful advice instead of just listing every single little insignificant negative there.
Putting previews and setting the theme for all guns would be just taking too much time, not everyone has the time/can be bothered making fancy .gifs. I'm very sure all of my models are well proportionally sized as well, and reasonably sized as well. I really do not know where you're getting this idea from.
Why do you think my mods represents the quality of most modder's mods? I can safely say that mine are one of the better ones out there.

A preview isn't just a .gif in fact a gif for a preview would be horrible. A preview is a preview of what the players will see when they use the mod. So take a quick in-game pic and post it for your mods, not hard. Your mods are all very horribly sized for the most part. The NS-PDW and NS-30 for example are quite bad. The vandal is really just over sized as heck. I imported the NS-30 vandal into unity with a deuce I got from JoJoe and guess what, it was still over sized. This is a problem in every mod and you refuse to see it or even admit you are wrong. The last sentence: "I can safely say that mine are one of the better ones out there". Really dude? This is your whole problem right here. You refuse to admit you are wrong and that your guns have problems. Though a few are ok most of them need some work.
Just put more time into getting the size and proportions of everything right. Some of the guns at the top of the list are around five times the size of the regular model, but of course thats ok because I am Jdrew and know nothing.

- Meh, you say that what I said isn't very helpful? I pointed out the errors in your modding(from a brief review of the thread). Showing you what I find needs improvement. I'm not sure about you but listing out the errors is giving you some form of a checklist to follow, this is in my mind "helpful". If I was to only say a few of the errors and not all of them it would come out as less of a "bash" but it leave out some of the errors. Doing this in my mind isn't very helpful. For example: If you were writing an essay for school, one of the major steps of improvement is having your work reviewed by someone else, and the person who checked your work only corrected one little thing in the whole essay, even though they say countless errors, you wouldn't be very much of a help.
- There is a difference between "bashing" and "constructive criticism", so please make sure you can distinguish the two before you go mistaking something for what it is not.
- To be honest the 'positive comments' seem to be more of a tool to 'suck up'. I'd rather not do this, therefore I try to make constructive criticisms.
- Not sure about you but I know for a fact that the constructive criticisms that i gave your was most definitely not "Insignificant". In my opinion there are 3 main categories to focus on when making a model. These being, 1st person, 3rd person and and overall appearance of the model. A 'modder' should be able to preform well in all of these categories, not only performing well by executing well. Meaning having the ability to create the model keeping in mind the 3 categories, and represent the model showcasing the 3 categories for a better analysis on your work.
- Previews really do not take a lot of time if you're using a convenient method of doing so. For example when you're taking ingame screenshots(which i urge you to do) to do them in groups of 3 to be more efficient, this meaning replacing the semi, smg and shotgun to get previews of them. to speed up the process of switching in and out models.
- OK now we don't need to get personal, we are focusing on your models, this is your thread. pointing out that the way I represent my models in 1 of the 3 categories, this being the overall appearance of the model, I thought the best way to accurately showcase the models was taking advantage of the features giving in slab6.
- So 18 out of 41 of your models have previews for, that's less than half! Of these 18, 11 of them have problems with them(meaning 1 of the 3 categories wasn't taken into account).

- May I suggest for your ingame screenshots that you use the free temporary severs, join with 2 clients then proceed to take a picture with 1st and 3rd person. Also remember to be consistent, that the pictures with your models from the same angle.
- Who said I think your "mods represents the quality of most modder's mods", this is definitely not the case... I normally try not to post on modding pages.
- I can safely say that after all this you should review your models again..
- All in all I do not want to continue arguing about this, I've told you in my opinion what you should so I'll leave you with that.

In an essay, if someone only points out the bad things, this would lead whoever made the essay to not know what they did right, and what they should do more of. I never said you cannot leave negative feedback, but try to leave some positive so I know what to do more of.
I never said I was never wrong either, thanks to some feedback, I've improved stuff like the pistol grips, proportion size, etc. Pivots have always been one of my weaker points, but recently I have started to be more accurate with the pivots, try downloading my last 2 mods (M14 DMR, Carl Gustav M/45). The banner for those guns without screenshots do count as a preview as well.
The reason why I said your last post was mostly bashing was because it's pretty much just negative comments without saying how to improve, or any suggestions. This seems to be rectified with this post, so that's good.
Doing screenshots by your suggestion still takes up unnecessary time, which could be used to improve the quality of my mods. Also, that 2 clients thing seems bothersome.
The FN SCAR-L & H are in a pack, the SCAR-L replaces the SMG, the SCAR-H replaces the Rifle.
I usually do not edit my old models, any feedback to improve will be taken into consideration and implemented in future models.
I know your opinion, you seem to really dislike my mods.

The FN SCAR-L replaces the SMG, it is placed in the SMG section, and the FN SCAR-H replaces the Rifle, so it is placed in the Rifle section. Understand?

leave it in one place and place a note under it or have it separated, what's the point of having the pack of the 2 guns when you're going to keep them in the same place?
