I don't really like feeling like I'm about to die, thanks. I seriously don't know what everybody seems to like about them. Might just be that I have some heightened self-preservation instinct tho.

Most people crave that sense of thrill and adrenaline rush without the presence of any real life threatening danger. I myself love going in rides like these. Just a little statistic to keep in mind next time you go on a rollercoaster: the probability of you dying on a roller coaster is 1 in 300 million.
What you should be afraid of is this, lol. Anyone heard of it? It's an interesting read.

I'm sure someone has made this in rollercoaster tycoon.

I find some types cool but otherwise, The real ones that make you go upside down- Well, lets just say I don't like them that much. Here it looks like to me: Rollercoasters are just rides that go up and down until you get serious sicknesses for the thrill of it.

Yeah, I know that, but there are fears that are simply irrational. I wouldn't be too comfortable near a shark even though there is a metal grid separating us, or standing around in a field in the middle of a thunderstorm, even though even in optimal conditions it is pretty unlikely to be hit by a thunder.

And that coaster, holy shit. I don't think that is a really ideal way to go, because, as mentioned in the page, there is a 2-minute climb to the top. Quite some people(I wouldn't be able to point out an exact number, sorry) decide to commit suicide as a quick irrational action, so it is likely that the two-minute climb would give those people time to actually think and perceive that they don't really want that, and at that point it is not really suicide, it is plain torture-and-execution.
tl;dr interesting concept, but it doesn't seem like it could actually be implemented.

Hm. First rollercoaster I had was when I went to Hong Kong last year. Damn you, Disneyland Space Mountain...
