This game needs a revival - My humble opinion

The original, free Ace of Spades game powered by the Voxlap engine. Known as “Classic,” 0.75, 0.76, and all 0.x versions. Created by Ben Aksoy.

What we should do is have older 0.x servers. And I am quite curios where openspades will go. I really want it to become a strong and loveable game. We don't want it to go into the other direction... *cough JAGEX cough*

Yep, it's possible to host servers for versions like 0.54. We need to find a way to get people to stop playing hallway and get on some of these servers, and it would be a good idea for BnS to support that version, and have a server list as well.

Servers that would be well populated! (personally because I never played the older versions D:)

I am not entirely sure how to do that.
Maybe we could do .35 events, like a BnS .35 League. I would love to try it out, since I've never played .35 and would love to see why everybody loves it so much. Of course this would need more support than just my opinion but I bet many people would love a BnS .35 League.

I support this, it would be good if more people could experience the early days of AoS (including me).

No will ever join a server that isn't .75. The players in the community see filled servers and fun servers so they will only join those types of servers. .76 servers have been around for roughly a year and only a small chunk of the community plays on those servers (not including league players). Do you know why? There isn't enough players to have excitement to catch these players eye. So what use will it have on the community to host servers that are inferior to .75 or .76? Sure a community event might attract players to .35 ect, but for only a short time. Having a league season for .35? I wouldn't be too fond of that since from what I have seen. The game isn't very eye appealing unlike .76 with its enhanced colors and slightly better looking graphics. The game was updated for a reason! BenAskoy updated the game from .35 for a reason, going back to it would defeat the purpose.

Ok, just found out that .35 doesn't support any scripts whatsoever. So a BnS 0.35 League will probably never happen.

People are too stuck on either the idea that "newer = better" or that the old way was always the best, usually because they're stuck looking through nostalgia goggles (or borrowing someone else's)

By that logic we should all drop .76 and just play 1.0 since its the update.

I just thought that a .35 League would be a good idea since so many people seem to like it. (I didn't consider nostalgia when I posted the suggestion.) I myself have never played .35, so I can't judge it nor experience any nostalgia for it.

It's fun, but the game's noticeably improved since then. If anything we should go back to the version where the Apeape trainer worked, that thing was awesome.

It had some more stuff too, like a fly hack and reach hack and infinite blocks, it was great.

We should go back to 0.60 before JaGex started ruining AoS.

I found this:
Seems like a pretty advanced trainer.
