I joined fairly late, so could someone explain why 0.75 is such a bad version and why it's the only version used (with the exception of those few 0.76 servers)?

0.75's weapon balancing is awful, there is an SMG which has no recoil, pinpoint accurate and can kill in 2-3 hits, meanwhile the semi-auto rifle can't hit the targets most of the time, and this means everyone in 0.75 uses SMGs, except in extremely big or small maps.

0.76 isn't a finalized product, it's a Release Candidate, and 0.75's powerful SMG probably appeals to a lot of players who currently play it.

Eh, the semi is more accurate at distance and has a faster kill time than the SMG if you're good with the rifle. I'm not saying the SMG isn't OP, it's an OP SMG, not an OP weapon, I'm just saying that the rifle is good and I atleast play better with the rifle than the SMG.

The SMG is the easier and the more effective weapon, I am decent with both weapons, but I would do better with an SMG than a rifle anytime of the week. True, the rifle has an advantage in the small area it has where the SMG can't hit, but that's pretty much the only advantage.
