The Russians don't want a western confrontation so they're keep it covered with false evidence of their invasion. There are tens of thousands of Russian troops around the Ukraine border to prepare for an invasion of their neighbor Ukraine. The Russian military force are in position to invade Ukraine at any point. Through Russia's military build-up on the borders and claiming Crimea as a property of Russia. There is a strong possibility of a full fledged Russian attack on Ukraine. Russia has already proved in the pass that they are very unstable and hot headed. Under Vladimir Putin's reign. Ukraine and most of the /FREE/ European countries will come to accept the rule of Putin in the upcoming years.

China has an active policy of encouraging their populations to occupy the country areas. It isn't much of a stretch to imagine them encouraging people to occupy lands from other nations that are "rightfully" theirs, and they should be specially interested in Siberia seeing as it has a pretty big amount of resources they are interested in.
