I know I said I was going to do an arena map but I got side tracked when working on another map. The other map is going to take a while as I need to make all the models by hand so I made this to tie you guys over. The color map hasn't been used much and the models(by lost motels, trees made by me) haven't really been used that much ether.

Rock Island was a testing map I used to test the color-map of one the materials in JoJoe's height map templete. It jus tso happened I had put enough design thought into it to make a map out of it. The two bases are near a hill and a small wall similar to the one on island. Once has more trees then the other but the trees can be easily greifed. The buildings are nothing special though I did modify a few of them to make them more appealing.
In the middle is where things get interesting. You have the house from utopia surrounded by trees on ether side. The trees should stop snipers on top for a bit as well as SMG's on the bottom of the house. Then to the southern middle you have a small rock formation and a large flat area where players should build unless they want to wall pop off the rock formation in the middle. Then to the north you have a mountain that is similar to Icecraft's mountain as well as a few hills. The hills allow you to remain unseen as combat will be directed towards the house and southern side of the map. The hill keeps going til it gets to the bases where a larger mound where snipers can go on forms.
This part of map is really, way way too flat, why not to add some dunes, this is really uninteresting area. Well maybe, if learn_more agrees, you could add there a minefield.
