First things first, yes i do know that CS:GO is out already, but i seem to like CSS better Than GO, for the BIg reason of that it doesn't LAG,

Another reason is that I had only $10.00 and had nothing to do with it. i spent all my money on a few games (Gmod, and CoD 4 PC) and all I could buy on steam that was good was Counter Strike Source. but hey, at least the graphics are alright I guess

yes I am a noob at it I guess, but that is why I am making a whole series on it.

ENJOY

What kind of crappy computer do you have? Even on my laptop which struggles on games like Minecraft, it can run CSGO pretty smoothly on the lowest settings.

wait, windows 8 can run CS:GO smoothly?
Wait, do you have a windows 8? If it struggles with minecraft, then i guess its a Windows 8
If you do have a windows 8, then compared to yours, i have a crappy PC, because, if im wrong, TF2 and CS:GO have the same engine, and running TF2 is like my grandma trying to run track.

No, it has Windows 7, I don't see how Windows 8 is going to make any game perform worse. CS:S runs on the same engine (Source) as CS:GO, don't know why you can run the first well but you can't run the last one well.

probably because CS:GO has higher system requirements than CS:S does, it's not a surprise why he can only run CS:S.

That first statement really pisses me off. Also, referring to another post of yours, just because they run on the same engine doesn't mean they run the same. Titanfall uses the source engine, can you run Titanfall as well as you can fun CS:S? Unless you have a nice computer, I doubt it.

CS:GO system requirements:

OS: Windows® 7/Vista/XP
Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom™ X3 8750 processor or better
Memory: 1GB XP / 2GB Vista
Hard Disk Space: At least 7.6GB of Space
Video Card: Video card must be 256 MB or more and should be a DirectX 9-compatible with support for Pixel Shader 3.0

You could run this game on a budget PC from half a decade ago with an very cheap GPU.

Wow, ok i admit, my computer can only run an 8 vs 8 match on CS:S, but really, if i can run TF2 and Gmod, then i could run CS:GO.
You also need to realize that, since my computer is a windows 8, it could run CS:S with 20 Frames Per Second, PLUS the screen recorder, will slow my computer down a bunch. Green_Septic

How does Windows 8 slow things down? I thought the performance was the same as Windows 7?

I don't know what you are even trying to say

either way though nikhao is right, being able to run CS:S and Gmod doesnt necessarily mean you should be able to run something like CS:GO even though they're on source engine

Where are you getting your information from? Everyone knows that windows 8 is worse for games unless you fix some registry issues.
