Pretty much one of the best RTS's out there. Near perfect civilization balance plus the perfect feeling of blowing away tons of soldiers with cannon. I've gotten godly good recently; like 5 minute rush good.
Anyone play? If so, we could direct IP/Matchmake online.

Age of Empires 3 I didn't really like but the second one was amazing for me.

Those expansions definitely add an incredible amount to the game, as well as making it feel more classic Age of Empires (especially when you play as the Aztec).

I played this a while ago, god it was fun! I heard somewhere there will be a 4/5, might have just been a rumor though.

Although they are bringing Age of Mythology (in an extended format or whatever) to Steam.

I hope this won't be kinda off topic, but as someone who played a variety of game genres (FPS, RPG, horror, etc) and would like to try an RTS game, would you guys recommend AoE II or AoE III? Or one of the Age of Mythology games?
I'm interested in something new, so yeah, complete RTS newbie here, lol.

I haven't played AoE3, but I've played AoE1,2 and AoM and I think they are great, even if you are new to RTS games. they are the only real RTS I game really play, and AoE2 is probably my one of my favorite games ever

First RTS I played, and I loved it. I never actual completed the game though, it was really hard. Maybe I just suck though
