I have been throwing some ideas around about what I should do with the AK server but I just can't seem to deterime one I like. For a while the AK server hosted just CTF but with so many unique and amazing maps that made it fun, how ever it rarely had players due to it being CTF and unique. Right now we are hosting a goon assault server but I get a bit tired of that map. I was thinking of maybe adding other assault like maps to the rotation like drift ice and other goon assault variations.

Another idea I had was turning it into a TC server with 7 or 8 maps that had the command posts set via map extension to allow for really unique gameplay. How ever if the server had only 5 or so players most of the time then the maps would have to be small. I also thought about running two servers on the VPS I rent but it seemed to be just too much. So I wanted to know what you guys think. I want the server to be community driven with content that is being updated and made by the community but I also want the server to be unique too. So what would you want the AK server to host?

That would be a cool idea, so then people get to play the maps they see.

24/7 pp and hallway! Blue_Tongue

Well, seriously, I would liked both of the servers. Is there anyway to weight a map on rotation. For instance, make it so that we have one server that has Goon Assault along with variations of it 1/3 of the time, then another third of the time the maps we had on the CTF server, and then the rest of the time we can have the maps that are always in the newsletter like dan said. Just an idea to throw out there, if weighting maps is possible.

I'd say a mix of old maps that people already like to play and newer maps that you feel deserve some attention.

A pyspades server, hosted on 0.76, with ctf, on maps that the community generally play on.

No one plays 0.76 though besides the mumblers, it would be pointless and have little effect on the other servers or players.
