As for here, arena mode is very much like a cs clone. It's overplayed and face paced, favoring the SMG and shotgun.

And damnit, that just isn't aos.

Bro, no matter how much this game is fucked you can't change it. People will rather call you stupid and fail to understand your post, purely becuase of their determination to make you look stupid over the welfare of the game.

As for what Reuben said, yes we don't have to play it. But we can't keep aos a counter strike clone. If we do, that it will be no better than the shitty tf2 clone 1.0 is.

Hate to say it, but Reuben has a point. That's why you have to push for UNIQUE gamemodes, not the obliteration of a single gamemode. I'm more in between you guys by saying, I fucking hate arena, so we should should make new servers that host shit we like and get people to play it. It's that simple. This way, the people who hate Arena have somewhere to run to, and the presumed "CoD/CS" Fanboys have something to do. By attempting to minimise the Arena servers (which has happened there is about 2 now compared to the 5~7 before), and making new servers/promoting certain servers, you will gain more players, better playstyles, and an all around better experience.

On the note that OpenSpades sucks, I'm the biggest OpenSpades fanboy you can find. So please tell me how it sucks. I'm about 1000% sure that whatever "sucks" about it is stupid, or easily avoidable. The game needs your computer not to be a toaster and it runs.

I'm sorry that this community-made gamemode doesn't fit the true definition of a game where one of the biggest features is how customizable it is.

Also you do realize several games have arena gamemodes in them, it's not really ripping off anything. (Especially since, you know, it wasn't made by the game developers)
