Well, after being away from AoS for more than a year I decided to come back to it. I installed everything and tried using Openspades as well. Firstly open spades does not work for some reason and every time i run it and connect to a server it always crashes at the players and team selection screen(the second after it finishes loading). I tab out and it says my graphics driver has stopped responding. Does anyone know why? My GPU is a R9 270X with the latest drivers.
After that not working I try playing the normal one on 1080p but of course it does not work and turns it down to 1280x920p. The problem here is that I only get around 17 fps when playing with the normal client. My GPU is definitly capable of rendering out more frames since it can run Borderlands 2 high 60 fps constant, so I have no clue as to what to do or what to fix......
Thanks,

The voxlap client uses the CPU to render, so your GPU is pretty much irrelevant. Try turning the resolution down a bit and see if that gives you any significant gain.
If you're running windows 8, you'll probably want to use one of the fixes I found.

I found out 2 ways to fix it. Either turn down the shader settings to Medium or download OpenSpades 0.0.1.0: https://github.com/yvt/openspades/releases/tag/v0.0.10
